Exiting through elegant art deco aluminum elevator doors inspired by New York’s famous Empire State Building reveals a massive traditional floral painting by Charles Ben. Meanwhile, down the hall, assorted medallions by Frank Lloyd Wright glitter across from the rich glow of 17th century wood carvings.

The Dream Class of ships from Carnival Cruise Lines is the newest ship line from the company. The big ship to check out here is the Carnival Dream. This brand new ship based out of Port Canaveral, Florida, offers many exciting activities.
The staterooms at the Carnival Dream are beautiful and offer all sorts of quality features. The staterooms feature bathrooms with showers and even some junior tubs. Each room has plenty of space although the biggest space comes in the penthouse and balcony suites that the Dream has to offer.
After getting settled into one’s room a guest can do all sorts of things. A guest can go shopping at one of the large duty-free shops on the ship or play at the Jackpot Casino. A guest can also visit the Cloud 9 spa to get a unique massage or skin treatment or to use the many different pieces of modern exercise equipment there. A guest can even play games at the Warehouse video arcade.
There are many pools to see around the Carnival Dream with many of them featuring some unique things. For instance, the Carnival WaterWorks pool features a splash zone and a large waterslide known as the Drain Pipe. A Thalassotherapy pool that features mineral water with warm jets is also featured here. The Lanai whirlpools that can be found along a massive promenade are featured here too.
Guests can also enjoy a massive variety of foods. These include drinks at the Burgundy Lounge, a buffet at the Gathering and quality multi-course meals at the Crimson or Scarlet restaurants.
The Fun Hub is an exciting place to see that is brand new to what Carnival has to offer. This area of the Carnival Dream features a full online community where people can communicate with other guests, chat online and check out updates on all of the things that are going to be happening on the ship during the day.

Royal Caribbean International, like others in the cruise ship industry has a unique way of naming its fleet of ships. The naming of these ships in this line usually ends in ‘…of the seas’. Among the ships in the Royal Caribbean is the Serenade of the Seas. This particular ship made its debut in the year 2003 and has since been in operation. There are reasons that have made this ship be a choice for many travelers and guests. This is in terms of the value that it offers in return to the cost that these guests incur for their journeys and excursions.
Serenade of the Seas offers entertainment from a very wide scope. There are both indoor and outdoor activities and games. For those guests onboard with a bias towards sports, there is a lot to do. The ship also has a British colonial-style lounge for the guests to enjoy, with self leveling pool tables. There are also themed bars and a Portofino Italian restaurant. The rooms in this ship are spacious and well furnished.
