The décor of the Carnival Triumph is quite breathtaking and exquisite. The nine story open atrium that features glass elevators takes most of the advantage of the beauty of the ship. The lounges of the ship are equally beautiful. The piano bar, the cabaret room and the Venezia jazz are quite popular among the adults and are really lively at the nights. The ship’s sports bar has 7 huge screened televisions and various video-poker machines that are built in to the bars. There is a 2 floor Hollywood dance club as well with at least 500 video-monitors all around. There are boutiques, cappuccino bars/ patisserie, a library, wine bar and a video-game room in other public rooms.

The cabins are quite comfortable and spacious and there are personal balconies in most of the ships staterooms. Each stateroom has a coffee table, sofa, and pull down berths, comfortable bedding and other furniture of utility. The bathrooms are roomy and nice with showers, hair dryers and requisite toiletries. The ocean view suites and staterooms also include bathrobes and minibars.

The various performances by comedians, magicians and other passengers give an additional dimension to the whole place.

Extra-large accommodations are also available in the cruise ship. These special suites have separate sitting area with a private balcony. Ocean view rooms are also available and your stay in these rooms would certainly enhance your cruising experience at Carnival Fantasy. The panoramic view that I had from my private cabin in the Carnival Fantasy is lively with me until today and will remain for the rest of my life.

Caribbean Cruises presents Caribbean Princess Cruise Review

This was for the first time that me and my wife Jamie were on board Caribbean Princess cruise ship which belongs to Princess Cruises fleet.

EMBARKATION:

We were at the port at 10:10 and got in line at 10:20. While we were waiting in the line we were provided with a cold water and there were also benches along the wall so we didn’t need to be on our feet all the time . We were at our cabin at 11:25 and got our luggage at 1 P.M.
CABIN:
We had a balcony cabin on the Lido Deck. This was probably the smallest cabin we ever had, but the location was amazing. We had a plenty of storage space for our luggage, clothes and other accessories- The bathroom was a typical for a cruise ship. Our cabin steward Vanessa was very friendly.
DINING:
There was a really nice option to do traditional or anytime dining; as long as you didn’t make a reservation for a table for so-called anytime dining, you didn’t lose your usual table. But have to admit we did »anytime option« only once, The food was above average but still nothing special. The buffet restaurants were in general much better than on some other cruise ships we’ve been to. But there was one problem, though, for example if you wanted to go from one side of the restaurant to the other, you had to leave the restaurant to cross over., but we could live with that.
ROOM SERVICE:
The service was included in the cruise price, we just needed to tip the room service steward.
ENTERTAINMENT:
Even though there was no single »Carnival show«, the shows were very good. There was the “Piano Man” show which we liked it a lot, but the main problem was that the evening shows and entertainment, were scheduled in such a way that we had to choose one. We really liked Movies under the Stars, there were some very entertaining movies.
OVERALL:
We could name Caribbean Princess easy going. It’s not for everyone, but in the overall the service was more than just good. Our fellow passengers were very friendly and we really enjoyed their company. We might try another Princess Ship in the future because we really enjoy our cruise and we do recommend this ship!
